The “Hop to It…Feed the Frog” fundraising campaign was launched in 2014 at McNeal Elementary School in Lakewood Ranch, Florida and was very successful bringing in more than $7,500! We would like to expand the reach of this fundraising campaign and are asking additional schools and organizations nationwide to consider participating in Hop to It… Feed the Frog.

Here’s How It Works Each student is given their own “coin box” to collect loose change and is asked to bring the coin box back to their classroom to “feed the frog” by placing their change in the classroom money collector. In addition to loose change, donations can be brought in by check (payable to The Payton Wright Foundation) or made online through PayPal at The Payton Wright Foundation will donate 100% of the funds raised to families of children who are fighting pediatric brain cancer nationwide. In addition to helping families, pizza parties are awarded to the classes that raise the most money and schools are incentivized.

Our Passion and Joy comes from helping families financially when faced with all of the emotions and decisions that accompany pediatric cancer diagnoses. We know firsthand how tough the fight is and we strive to enable families to solely focus on the health of their children by offering financial assistance with household expenses. We cannot express enough how something as simple as a gas card or a rent/mortgage check can make the difference economically for a family. We assist families at hospitals both locally and nationally and we would not be able to do so without our donors and through fundraising initiatives such as Hop to It… Feed the Frog.
